REGISTER NOW for our 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Canada's beautiful capital city, April 26-28, 2006. This will be our third AGM in Canada; we previously met in Vancouver (2004) and Toronto (2002). Last year's memorable AGM was hosted by the University of Pittsburgh. In the year of the 800th Anniversary of the founding of the Mongolian State, our AGM program will focus on the nation's future under the theme  "The New Mongolia at the 800th Anniversary," with special emphasis on Mongolia's bilateral trade and investment with Canada and the US.

One of our goals at Ottawa is to promote early establishment of a permanent Canadian diplomatic presence in Ulaanbaatar. Our sponsors to date include the Mongolian Embassy in Ottawa and Western Prospectors Group of Vancouver. Our keynote speaker on April 27 will be Mongolia's Ambassador to Canada, Dr.  Dugerjav Gotov, former chief of staff and chief economic advisor to former Mongolian President Bagabandi. Also speaking will be US Ambassador to Mongolia Pamela Slutz  and Canadian government officials to be announced.
