Mongolia’s Minister of Mining, His Excellency Davaajav Gankhuyag, heads the line-up of outstanding speakers at the second annual Mongolia@PDAC 2014, a half-day investors conference in Toronto on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, during the 82st annual convention of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). Other government officials participating include the Chief of the Ministry’s Mining Policy Division and the Deputy Director of the Mineral Resources Authority of Mongolia (MRAM).

Newly confirmed speakers and panel moderators are Virginia Flood, VP of Rio Tinto; Jeff Parr, CFO of Centerra Gold; Cameron McRae, Strategic Advisor to SkyPath Partners LLC; D. Damba, President of the Mongolia National Mining Association and Tim O’Neill, Managing Director of Calais Capital LLC. Speakers previously announced include James Passin, Co-Founder and Fund Manager, Firebird Management LLC, Michael Preiss, Founder & Chief Investment Officer, Mongolia Asset Management Ltd, and Jay Liotta, Mahoney Liotta law firm in Ulaanbaatar. Thereafter, registration is $50 per person. Note that this registration is only for the Mongolia event, not for admission to the PDAC conference itself.
