New addition to NAMBC board of directors elected at Ottawa AGM

On the recommendation of the Nominating Committee, Ms. Jennifer Russo was elected at the Ottawa Annual General Meeting to take the Oyu Tolgoi LLC board seat previously held by Houston Spencer, who was transferred to London. Jennifer Russo is global communications manager for Rio Tinto Copper. She joined Rio in 2003. Ms. Russo is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Arizona State University and has also studied at Cambridge University and the University of London. She is listed in “Who's Who Among American Business Professionals.”

Nominating Committee Chairman Jim Wagenlander thanked Houston Spencer for his contributions as a board member and noted the retirement from the board of Tobin Robbins, expressing gratitude to Robbins for his distinguished service both as a board member and as Honorary Consul of Mongolia for British Columbia. All other incumbent officers and directors were re-elected; a complete list is posted at “Officers and Staff” on the menu above.
