USDOC trade mission to China-Mongolia, October 23-28,
includes sightseeing and one full day of meetings in UB

The US Commerce Department is organizing an official Coal Mining Equipment, Technologies and Services Trade Mission to China and Mongolia for American companies during October 23 - 28, 2011. The trip starts in Ulaanbaatar with a day of sightseeing followed by one full day of meetings on October 23-24, after which the mission will visit two cities in China  -- Xian and Beijing. The mission will include individual participant meetings tailored to each company’s goals as well as appropriate government meetings. The mission will conclude in Beijing on October 28, the first day of the China Coal and Mining Expo (October 28-31). For Mongolia only, the fee per person is $1,250 for large firms and $975 for SMEs. (SMEs = companies with no more than 500 employees). The fee for each additional participant per company is $200. For China only, the fee is $4,995 for large firms and $4,500 for SMEs. The fee for each additional participant per company is $725. For the entire mission (China and Mongolia), the fee is $6,245 for large firms and $5,475 for small and medium-size enterprises. These fees do NOT include any air travel, hotel, food or other travel expenses. Participants accepted for the mission must make their own travel arrangements.
