Philip Vaughan, VP of Fluor, is elected to NAMBC Board of Directors NAMBC Chairman Pam Slutz has announced the election to the NAMBC Board of Directors of Philip Vaughan, Vice President for International Government Relations of the Fluor Corporation, based in Washington, D.C., Prior to his current post, during his 22 year career at Fluor, he was Director of Sales for the Middle East and North Africa Region. Based in London and Dubai, he was responsible for Fluor’s activities in Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. He also served in Singapore, where he organized and managed the Pacific Business Forum, the first APEC Business Advisory Council. Before joining Fluor, he worked for IBC, a trade policy firm, and on the personal staffs of former House Committee on Ways and Means Chairman Dan Rostenkowski (D-Illinois) and Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska). He serves on the Boards of The Washington Chorus the National Foreign Trade Council, the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) and the National Center for APEC. He graduated from Georgetown University with a Masters of Arts in Arab Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service.
